It might, HDMI has a way of its own. Some cables won't even work right unless it is plugged in from one direction, meaning they are not bi-lateral and only works from 'one-way'.

Had a problem with my 2310ci and I replaced the tuner. Sourced a used part from ebay for $10 shipped. Look around, they're out there. Filter with different models that uses the same tuner....

^^Nope, nada. When I play something usually info shows up when I press the * button (refer to a few posts above with pics) but otherwise the button is no longer useful, it is now dead!

Denon is not what it used to be if you're asking for reliability. From my experiences with the newer AVR (post 2010) so far, at least it hasn't been. I still like the brand very much for its features...

Well, according to Pioneer and Panasonic they are. I just can't fathom a plasma TV from Samsung or LG. With that said, I still love my 42" Panasonic 'THX Certified' Plasma.
