Woah.... the difference in the amount of bass between running the 215's flat and boosting them is massive!!

I would say that maybe you should try boosting the bass on the 215's before buying...

Each Cap should be just like each 215 as far as bass goes. Are you getting 2 Caps? Expect a 6 db bump in headroom which IMO is very significant. :) The difference is you don't have to eq the bass...

That's how it works when adding subs. Doubling subs (and power to the sub of course) gives you 6 db's more output if located close to each other. If you have 2 subs and add a 3rd sub you get 3 db's...

I had mine until 2004 when I bought Axiom m60's. They had a lot of output down to the low 30's. Ha, I burnt through a lot of fuses. Can't believe they never died.
