Both? There are three parts to the chain - processor, 88A and power amp(s). Are all three on?

Regardless, IIRC, and ICBW, the 88A won't do...

Unfortunately, totally incorrect. Both Atmos and DTS:X have positional rendering built right in. It is the hardware manufacturers who have not implemented it that is the reason we are not seeing it....
