Good repair, but they should use some glue to hold the capacitors down so they don't fall off during transit. I always use a tiny bit whenever I do these. (So far 8 of them saved for this same fault....

Guarantee SC board will be a right pain to find ($80 would be lucky), repair isn't too bad though from what I hear if you've got good soldering skills. IMHO $190 is a bit too risky for this...

That is great to hear! My PDP-LX5090 is still going strong, and looks better than ever with the tweaks to the black level. I've never seen a panel that looked so good before.
