shoobe01, if you are talking about a CRT then I don't think we have the same problem. This black level "shift" or "flicker" is specific to plasma.

Interesting... you mean to say pan scenes on the Quad are acceptible? They were always horrible on mine, i.e. jaggies that caused motion to be entirely unrealistic.
