That is an 80W AVR and most 8-ohm speakers on average only require <5W/CH so yes, more than enough power. Not too mention, these are tiny speakers as well.

Sub amp issue ... either AUTO ON is no longer working well (set to ON to test) or sub amp itself needs to be powered on first before the AVR.

Set the sub gain/volume knob at about 9 o'clock and run Audyssey Auto Setup for just 1 position. As long as the sub volume level has not been set to -12db, you're good to go to run Audyssey again...

As the LFE signal is only 20Hz - 120Hz, yes, if you lower it to 80Hz, most of what is >80Hz would not pass to the sub, however, AFAIK, in most cases there isn't much > 80Hz so lowering it won't...

Yes, you could use Zone 2 as an option, noting that the SR7008 can pass 2.0 from any source to include HDMI to Zone 2 whether using the pre-outs or speaker posts.

The LFE signal is the 0.1 in DD/DTS 5.1/6.1/7.1 and only goes to the sub so adjusting it has no impact on the signals going to the speakers.
