If you use room correction such as Audyssey, remember to run it again, now that you have unblocked the ports.

I agree with Mattman. Really depends on your setup. For 5.1 you can't go wrong with either one, but the nudge probably goes to the RS-52 (I think your sig, says you use RF-82 as mains). The RB-61, or...

My subs are set in Ported Max Extension Mode: 1 port open, and operating mode switch set to ‘EQ1. Maybe Ported Max Output Mode: 2 ports open, and operating mode switch set to ‘EQ2 would be better for...

Yeah, I'm not sure. What I meant though is they (Dolby) could possibly tell you what type (not brand) they recommend. Like direct firing compared to wide disperse for that particular setup. My only...

For a definitive answer to best speaker would be to contact Doby. I can see possibly using the RS for 5.1.4, but if you have back surrounds I just don't know if I agree with whoever you talked to at...

Your current speakers are 75Hz and 6 ohm speakers. The RC-42 is 88Hz and 8 ohm. The lowest setting to spec would be 100Hz. Your current setup is irrelevant to how the Klipsch will sound, or need to...

You will be pushing the speaker beyond it's limits. Are you stuck at 80Hz for some reason? If not, than 100Hz will sound better.

Will you be using room correction like Audyssey? I doubt you will be able to crossover at 80Hz if you are. You can raise the crossover, but not lower it when using room correction. With that said, I...

I think it's in the Dolby Atmos white papers (been awhile since I read it) that Atmos is designed around localization. For a definite answer, I guess you would need to contact Dolby directly.

I have had a 48" on a Klipsch RC-25 (DIMENSIONS: 6.5" x 20.5" x 9" WEIGHT 19 lbs.) in a bedroom for a year. The RC-62 is a larger center so it should be fine as long as the TV fits on it.

You mean the RF-82 II's, right? I don't have them but going by the specs that say they are 43.6" tall, I would say the center of horn is about 38 inches, give or take an inch.

Most likely will just be subtle changes and a lateral move (or step backward). At least that is how it's been with the previous changes.
