You said,

"Seems decent" in a forum devoted to audio performance is going to be interpreted as decent in performance, not decent in looks.

For the extra $20, definitely worth it because (a) you might be glad you had the extra max output capability if you ever re-purpose it for use somewhere else, (b) the 1200 will extend a little deeper...

Agreed. The Outlaw LFM-1 Plus, on sale for $500, is a much better choice for your room if you want to fill the room with bass. It's also a better quality sub than the others in the $300 range. Not...

Yes. I would recheck your wire connections before using the setup again. It's not good for your receiver if your receiver keeps shutting off; you don't want to damage it. If using bare wire, make...

You have made a claim that the HTD sub looks pretty good for a $500 sub in someone else's recommendation thread. The BIC PL-200 & NXG BAS-500 look just as good or better based on specs for $300 or...

"Seem" being the operand word here. Specs can be misleading. HTD rates their Level Three sub as "22 Hz - 150 Hz." Notably, they do not include a variance amount. So they may not have usable output at...

You are correct. The other poster is stuck in the past. The original Daytons are the ones people loved; the middle revision everyone hated. The newest ones are supposed to be OK but not as good as...

The measurements speak for themselves. 24-180 Hz ± 3db in a 10" ported sub won't outperform the 12" options from the ID vendors for an HT setup. Here is a graph of the measurements along with the...
