As long as you can disable NAT and DHCP and can set the LAN IP address, it will work. You will probably wanna make sure about which wireless standard it supports, G will not work for video streaming.

However, I have mine plugged into the the rear USB port of my Chromebox inside a cabinet (with open sides) and it works very, very well.
