I just took a look at the specs, and it seems the Sony has a 150W RMS amp. IMO, you'll likely get performance comparable to the SUB-1200 at lower/normal volume levels. For $45, you can't go wrong.

Yeah, I will likely end up keeping it, for three reasons:
- I already have it :) ;
- I can load biquad filters generated by OmniMic or REW into it (something I don't think you can do with iNukes);...

IMO, spend $45 more and get the Dayton SUB-1200 (~$145, shipped). It's a very well-rated sub for the money. Integrated it into your system and it will play as politely as a lesser sub...but for...

I currently have a miniDSP 2x4 (great little device!), so I'm debating between:
- keeping it and adding an NU6000; or
- selling it and going with an NU6000DSP as an "all in one" solution.

So...as long as I wire pos to 1+ and neg to 1- on both the connectors and the chassis mount, I should be good? That seems fool-proof - just the thing for me! :D

Thanks for the info. I'll order...

I've bought a fair bit of stuff through Monoprice and I've always been quite happy with their shipping costs. But last night I was about to order two 6' RCA-to-XLR cables, one 10' Neutrik cable and...

Rythmik is a well-respected and -rated Internet-direct company, and the LV12R is a well-rated sub in its price range.

If you're intent on sticking to your budget, I'd go with the LV12R.

According to the owner's manual (http://www.go-gddq.com/upload/2013-05/27/2013052054.pdf) (PDF):
- the power rating is dynamic, so an RMS rating would likely be (well?) below 100W; and
- the...

According to the HSU website, the VTF-3 MK4 (http://hsuresearch.com/products/vtf-3mk4.html) is currently priced at $639 + $99 shipping, so it's over your budget cap.

Cables and connectors to/from iNuke.

The plan is to get an NU6000 or 6000DSP. For amp-to-subs, I'm looking at this Neutrik cable (http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=115&cp_id=11509&cs_id=1150903&p_id=8769&seq=1&format=2) (one 10'...
