I knew that but also SD doesn't release any USB tuners itself. So SD never releases any firmware for that tuner on its web site. Like you said, it is up to Hauppauge to pick up the slack.

I'm pretty sure it is not a CCI issue. Also SD released firmware to support this new feature last year already. Hauppauge looks like is slow to adapt.

It is definitely going to happen. Almost all current UHD TVs can't support HDCP 2.2 and 18gbps bandwidth on the same port. That's means you can't get copy-protected 4:4:4 video stream.
