If PLIIc is automatically selected your receiver is only getting a 2 channel signal. Might want to look at the settings in your media player.

Have you had a chance to listen to Mirage of late under the Voxx umbrella? I know its pretty much just a brand name now but curious how they compare to those under API back in the day.

Are you going to be running any 4k content through the receiver? If not it shouldn't be a problem. Your tv is going to upscale all video sources to its native 4k resolution.

Does your Yamaha have pre-outs? Look for a grouped bunch of rca connections that say 'PRE OUT' or 'OUTPUT'. If your receiver doesn't have these your out of luck.

Your BenQ's native resolution is 1920 x 1080 (1080p). Any video source is going to be upscaled to 1080p. You might want to read up on upscaling and how it works.

You have to remember your Cerwin Vega speakers were super sensitive at 97db. The svs speakers on the other hand are 87db(tower) and 85db(satellite). The higher the number the louder the speakers will...

Where did you find those utterly useless frequency response numbers? Not that it matters but all your speakers (save sub) have a single 2 3/4" cone. Your not gonna get a lot of midrange out of those...

Uplug the audio rca's from the back of your tv and into the 'SAT/CBL IN' rca audio input on the back of the receiver. Select the SAT/CBL input on your remote and you'll be good to go.
