Hi everyone, Finally replacing a 7 year old...

Hi everyone,

Finally replacing a 7 year old Panny 60u plasma that has burn-in and uneven Phosphorous wear (from watching 4:3 about 20% of the time)........

Didn't want to go with another...

I haven't heard Missions in years, and they are not readily available...

I thought I was going crazy until I saw this thread. Just picked up the new 50" Panasonic (60U). The Rainbows are KILLING me. It is most pronounced with scenes that have very dark and bright areas...

They should have made them removable.

There are only two stores in my area that have any JVC's left. I went to one who had a 52"....

We're going to be sitting anwhere from 9-11 feet from the set, so maybe SDE won't be that big of an issue.

In general, is the contrast better (specs) on the JVC or SOny?
