How to have speakers "always on" when using receiver in Windows 7?

For me, Windows 7 likes to "shut off" my speaker inputs on my receiver when I'm not playing any audio.


The speaker input icons on the receiver disappear, and every time I play an audio file...

This is a very good idea and from the pictures it looks all the sharp points are tucked inside the frame so you may not need to worry about cloth tear when making a snug fit.

Burlap is too porous IMO, not to mention the material is ugly. The panels will constantly be hanging on your wall, so depending if you care about your room's aesthetics go with something color...

I'm assuming it'll be at whatever your speaker's efficiency is rated at. With the avr set at 0db, something like klipsch speakers will register a higher db than something like my aperion speakers.

Well, I built 6 panels that are 2'x4'x2" (what a pain in the ass). I have 6 OC703 acoustic insulation material remaining that measure 2'x4'x2".
