It's possible, but only if the Denon is broken. One easy way to check is to find programming that shows the noise, then play it through the receiver & direct to the TV.

Pixel noise is dependent on source material and TV picture settings. If you aren't adjusting the individual settings you can switch from the different pre-set modes (i.e. THX Cinema, THX Day).

The 60" stand and 65" stands should have the same connections--hex screws if I recall correctly--but given how wobbly the stand is, I definitely wouldn't put a 65" TV on a stand meant for a 60" model.

OLED can yield marginally better blacks. All other factors are the same or worse than plasma. And since LG, a manufacturer known for their sub-par TVs, is making the OLED I think I'd pass.
