That is correct. The Be phragm he noted is a 4" version so you would need the complimentary CD like 2447 or 2450-SL, etc. The 3" JBL Be phragm (2435) is available @ $700 or so.

No it won't. You would need a 4" based CD like the 2447, etc. JBL still sells the 2435 3" version wich should work...but it's over $700.
