I think it's very difficult to mix sealed and ported subs. It wouldn't be worth the trouble to me. I would just get a second XS30se.

OK thanks. I do plan on getting the UMIK-1. I have been using the sine wave playing a sweep from 10-200 Hz over 15 seconds. Would the LARSA be better?
This is a measurement from about 3 inches away...

Going to watch it again today. First two times was at -15, but I had a huge peak at 63Hz. I've since tamed that so I'm gonna try it at about -12.

Well I actually had a few minutes to do some quick measurements. The peak, which is centered at 63Hz, actually isn't as bad as I thought. I did about 10 different measurements all around the MLP....

The XV-15se would be a good choice IMHO. It's down firing so no grill, just aim the back port about 3-6 inches from the wall. Also it's not very large for a ported sub.
