Phase adjustments will do nothing when using SubEQ HT....once you run Audyssey, it will just set a different delay for that sub and cancel out any phase adjustment you made. Let Audyssey get the subs...

IMO, if you have more than one row of seating, more than one sub is a must. Duals might do it, but be prepared to go to 3 or 4 if you really care about bass in the second row. ;)

I always use the speakers>levels global...

I always use the speakers>levels global setting...don't have to go through and change each and every input that way. And, as soulburner mentioned, you should be able to see the Audyssey speaker trim...
