I've said it before, and will have to keep on saying it ... just because an HDMI cable works from the source --> TV does not necessarily mean it will work when connected to/from an AVR.

At the very least, the new 2016 Denon and Marantz and Onkyo (and likely Pioneer as well) models will no longer support Front Wide. AFAIK, Yamaha has never supported Front Wide.
