I threw away my Synology NAS for a ThinkServer model TS 140: About $215.00
ThinkServer is quieter than my old Synology and more expandable.

Any bulb after the first 500 hours drops 50% of its lumen output.
I've never had a bulb last anywhere near the factory advertised specs.

Most of my bulbs rated at 4000 hours go at about half that.

I saw the sound complaints about the WD but I'm not effected by it. I'm using a Denon AVR-3801 with Toslink Optical input
and the HD 5.1 surround is superb. I cannot vouch for 7.1 as I don't use it?...
