Well, I only had 1 speed fan before and never had an issue with it so I may go ahead with the Ecobee. Thanks for everyones input! They install tomorrow so we'll see how it goes.

Ok, so if the AC just needs to cool down a little bit it can run the fan slower and then higher if it needs to? That seems like a good feature so maybe the ecobee is out.
