Yeah agreed, the Wyrd is just a filter. I use a Schiit Bifrost. Apparently it has poor filtering abilities. I like everything else about it.

Seriously? These devices are hardly audiophoolery. My computer produced so much audible noise that it was irritating until I added a Schiit Wyrd USB conditioner. The difference? Wow!
