Typically a smaller sub (10-12") will blend better with speakers that have a crossover above 100hz.I also vote for the LV12R, or whatever comes out soon from Rythmik. Maybe ask them?

Yeah if the AVR says +db, it's making the speaker louder. Try not to let the AVR add output since that will cause artifacts.

You should be able to go into Manual adjustment mode and set it to 0db...
