Simply costs you more time. XT32 fine tunes the Antimode's results. Determine for yourself. Use Antimode only, XT32 only, and then Antimode+XT32 and choose the method you prefer the best. :)

The amps on a Marantz AVR (eg. SR5009) will still be powered, regardless of whether used or not. The majority of the heat from an AVR comes from the video card.
