I have the SCSTs and I drive them with a denon AVR rated at 125 wpc @ 8 ohms. It was a 6 ohm rating. It does just fine no worries.

I regret not having gotten the apple USB. It was a limited run. You see them used a lot, or on sale as amazon returns. I suspect there is a lot of copying and reselling of the drive.
