Thanks. I'm going with a bunch of Cat6, including a pair of shielded Cat5e, so I can use products like Gefen's and others that use UTP/STP. Also, going with 2" non-metal conduit.

If you're going to use the lights as bias lights for a plasma, LCD or whatever, be sure that they have a color temperature as close to 6500K as possible. Otherwise, you'll distort the aparent color...

With 40" to work with your left and right speakers will be too close to produce much of a soundstage. Another wall would be a good idea. Or, put the plasma on a stand and use free-standing speakers....
