I would wait till after 50 hours of use before you start adjusting for colors. Usually takes that long for the bulb to get burned in. Once you get it in a dark room you will really be happy with it.

It does sound like the setting inside your PJ 3D menu. There is a setting in there where you can view the images side by side or top and bottom. Sounds like thats probably where the problem is.

blacks look pretty good but you have to have a really dark room to really enjoy the blacks.

Haven't had any problems with playback of video...

Haven't had any problems with playback of video files through my Samsung blu ray player into the projector. Its just dependant on the quality of the video files and the player being able to play them.

TV and Projector will be on the 2 outs and Receiver and Digital Box on 2 of the ins. Not sure how your audio will work out. I prefer using analog for sound.

Under the specs is does say Vertical Scan Rate 24–85Hz, 120Hz, 144Hz. Haven't messed with it though myself.

Was it a 1.4 cable? Might have to buy an updated cable for your length. Never a good idea to patch cables together. I've considered buying one of the hdmi signal boosters but haven't yet.
