I just played a couple matches of ghosts, and yes, black ops 3 beta does have a more smooth look than ghosts, and less jaggies. So it probably is around 900p.

I think there is a factory reset or something similar in the setup menu, might say reset to defaults, can't remember exactly what it's called, but it is in menu system somewhere.

Yeah that seems to be a steep price for an old tv, and since it's a 2009 model, might have issues with rising black levels. I would steer clear of it.

Every panel seems to be unique in regards to IR. My U50 after about 4000 hours still gets it. I can lessen it by keeping contrast to around 50. Not sure if those images will help with IR but I guess...
