I was thinking more along the lines of 4x6 rugs. Will cut down on some of the reflection in the immediate surroundings of the speakers where most of it occurs initially.

Nice looking setup. Hate to say it with those beautiful hardwood floors but carpet would probably be a big help to your sound. Anyway...I would go with 1 1500 and another later.
