SPMC on the Shield, which is Kodi, (I think that is the beta you are referring to), plays HD Audio fine to include Atmos and DTS:X. The Kodi Alpha 17 is very buggy though.

I owned the 8080s and I think you will be able to set those at 80 or 60 real easy. The 9040s I am not sure about. However, I sold my 8080s because I prefer monopole over bi pole.

No, I mean mono polar vs bi polar. If you are not going to have similar reflecting surfaces for both bi polars, I would go with the STSs or do what I did and put a good sub under an SM65 and have...

I have SM65s, a CS8080, 4 1000s for surrounds and 4 DI 5.5s for Atmos. They all work great together. The vaulted ceiling may make it tricky. Are you going for looks or sounds. If they are high...

From what I understand, it is Kodi. This is just the Android programmer who kept the Android version with high def pass through going between versions 15 and 16. Now Kodi 17 alpha has HD pass...

Anybody know the difference between the TX 757 and RZ 710. The specs look pretty much identical, but the MSRP is $200 different.

What Speedie said. The internal crossovers are above 100 in all those 8080s. You basically would have a gap out of each speaker. They would be playing nothing below the internal sub crossovers.

I think those RLS's will be fine without toeing in. The Def Techs have a wide image. I don't think they will sound as good as the SM65s, but they would work well for the WAF.

While that is attractive, you are reinforcing why I don't like built in's. If you can put the RLS's in, I would do that. Do you know where your studs are at?

I don't know if there is anything...

I am having trouble picturing your media cabinet. The wider separation would be better, but if you get the RLS's will the at least be flush with the front of the TV or recessed in a cabinet? Two...

I would not get the 8020s, but keep the PM1000s and add a really good sub right now. Sell the PS800 and PC1000 and get the CS8060 if possible or an old CLR 2002. My number one lesson learned is...

They don't give much info, but by looking at them the tweeter and woofer are different which means it's not the BDSS woofer and ti looks like the tweeter may not pivot.

Go up to the 2002 if you have the room. With speakers, size matters and you get about twice the cubic volume of the PC2000. It will be a great upgrade from the PC1000.

I was thinking the same thing about Inception when I was watching the trailer. Dr. Strange was not one of my favorite characters, but I liked the Defenders.
