Are the sub boxes level with the top shelf? If so you could build a sturdy shelf that spans the subs and stand sans legs. Put the center on that and either wall mount the tv or put it on the center.

Nice setup. I'm very familiar with it from the late 90's. I always really liked the V1.8 and V2.8 speakers.

From my experience, just use the 5800. You will have plenty of headroom, slam, etc....
