I have an HDR OLED and my 8500 is en route via UPS, due here tomorrow (Wednesday). I will try to test whether any of the apps output in HDR. Not an issue for me personally b/c the apps on my set work...

Yeah. Can't/won't replace the 75" 1080p Samsung in my primary viewing room until this set or similar is reasonably priced. The 75" Sony 940D may move to the front of the line if I can ever score one...
