Most TVs today can be configured to accept either limited or full range, or even auto-detect. You need to configured your TV to match your PC, don't use auto-detect.

It won't pass DCA check (but can be bypassed via tools) and won't allow you to playback copy-once recordings or Live TV on the VM but it should be ok to play them back on an extender.
