To me, the chambering is an advantage for the midrange, you get a bandpass filter that filters after the driver's distortion instead of before. And the tweeter doesn't drive much of its energy...

Should be able to. I'm about to do some testing on just that subject. I'm also working on adding "Unity" drivers to pull the next lower driver close enough to the SEOS center to act like a wideband...
