I stopped by Best Buy this morning and looked at the OLED 9600. I saw a very very slight darkening around the edges on dark scenes, but nothing I would call a defect. The picture looked awesome. I...

My guess is the OLED problems can be resolved. Seems like the most likely explanation is a voltage issue along the bottom and top near the sides. Happens during dark scenes so my guess is it only...

I can understand why a manufacturer wouldn't want a client to send their sub for testing. The client may have damaged or altered the sub and it would lead to a bad review. Better to send one that's...

I've seen all the TVs in person and the LG had a much better picture. I never saw the dark edges issue but then again I saw it in Best Buy for maybe 10 minutes and wasn't staring at the edges. If...

I've seen all the displays at Best Buy and thought the LG was far superior. I didn't notice any issue with black around the edges. Hopefully LG can resolve this.

The shootout was entertaining, but...

I noticed last year a big jump in LCD quality. The new LCD UHD sets looked vastly better than the 1080p sets from previous years. I guess the improvements have continued into this year.

They didn't add front wides to their atmos setup on the 6200. Seems like the only difference between the 5200 and 6200 is better HDMI ports.

First off, don't get the Martantz fixed. If you can use it as a radio, maybe do that. Otherwise, I would toss it.

If you have a 7.1 setup and don't plan on adding speakers, you can get pretty much...

I think there are limits on what copper can do. No matter how thick it is or how it's wrapped, there's a limit.

Also, those numbers are always inflated. A gigabit network is really closer to 500...
