OP is using SPDIF. So the only thing that works is AC3 or DTS for 5.1. None of that is supported by YouTube regardless of the client version.

I agree. But OP claimed (or hinted) it can bitstream HD audio while mixing in menu sound which I don't think it ever existed. Xbox 360 can already mixing it menu sound then re-encode into 5.1 DD....
