There's a compressed gasket holding it in place with the screws out. If you can get something like a plastic putty knife and just wiggle it in there back and forth you should be able to move it...

The A9's impedance minimum is 4.49 ohms at 67 Hz. If you are crossing to subs this becomes a non issue

You could get dual Reaction V15's for $1400 shipped...
