Here's the 2450SL phragms being installed in my 2447H's. This diaphram is aquaplas coated Ti. Not quite as good as Be, but a lot less expensive.

No, what he is attempting is PASSIVE bi-amping. A seperate amp channel for the LF versus HF section, but going through the same crossover.
