Try doing a soft reset by simply unplugging the power cord for 10 minutes. If still no joy, then reset the microprocessor (p. 148 Owner's manual).

Does this occur using one specific source or any source? Could be an HTPC issue which you may be able to resolve by resetting the microprocessor (check owner's manual for procedure).

Either or both Zones 2/3 are powered on. Power them off and the whole AVR will power off. :)
