If I had to do again I more likely would have got a Crown. I know there is some debate of home vs. commercial amps, but I have yet to hear a bad thing about crown and dollars to WPC is insane...

I'm a believer - Separate Amp for L/R Makes a Differance

I run a 5.1 system on an Onkyo 818. I just wasn't getting the sound I wanted from the system. Specifically my L/R front speakers.

I read and read ...my L/R speakers were 4 ohms and 87 sensitive...

But for two identical speakers one ported and one not -- porting allows the speaker to have more bass at the sacrifice of some sound quality in the mids and highs?

I think over all the FVHP15 is worth the cost over the HSU. The 20 and 16 range has allot more... And thats where you feel the bass not hear but feel it.

So +2 go for HSU ...1 go...

Many others ... Don't think the 70-20 is really that much better than the 70-10. The 70-20 was chosen because when the tweeter has to work in a 2-way design which required a very low crossover...
