Yeah, I don't think it's been updated in a long time, but it still works for me. It's really just a front end to some other utilities that have been around from the beginning - eac3to and tsmuxer.

They are referring to the end of support dates...

They are referring to the end of support dates for the operating systems. Doesn't mean the OS or WMC will not still work after those dates or that the guide data could go away prior to those dates.
