I don't own a last generation KURO, but if I did I certainly wouldn't be looking to go buy OLED at this point. I would just keep and continue to enjoy the amazing KURO.

That's interesting, as there is something unique about the organic texture and color of glowing phosphors. Part of the issue with OLED is it's only white OLED with color filters, and not true RGB...

One other thing is we'll have to see if dark sides issue exists on the flat 65" OLED sets to be coming out soon. Perhaps it has something to do with the curving, i.e. bending, of the screen.

I doubt there is any way to do that, as it's those pixels themselves that are not getting fed a signal to illuminate or something. Re-sizing or adjusting the image will still leave that section...
