All the online calculator I looked at came up with the same result.....possibly using the same suspect maths.

That makes sense....one is direct light from the projector, the other is reflected light scattered in all directions, specially if it's a unity gain.

Me thinks folks are mixing up Ft candles with foot lamberts.

Ft candles = Lumens/sqft

To convert Ft candles or Lumens/sqft to Ft lamberts one needs to multiply by 3.14
