Just hook the 2 RCA plugs into the Phono input. It looks like the DIN type (European??) plug was just spliced into the the line outs.

Not sure what or why you are seeing but LPCM is uncompressed and fixed. 1 channel of 48/16 bit LPCM audio is 768Kbps.

All 'objects' have metadata about their location in space. It is up to the end decoder to steer them into channels. This way you can have any number of channels and all setups will be fully supported...

You must be confusing software with hardware. The technical dynamic range of an LP is <60dB (being analog it's not an absolute) and 16 bit is 96dB (16x6 and absolute).

With DTS (or Dolby) multichannel the multichannel signal must be recombined (folded) into 2 channel. There is metadata to do this process but it does require reliance on (maybe somewhat subjective)...

No, there are no 3.5 mm pre-outs. All pre-outs are RCA (some high end receiver/processors have additional balanced XLR's).
