Room treatments might help. Everyone's room is different. Mine definitely sounds better with MCACC enabled. I have room treatments behind the EM ESL's. I have them about 36" off the front wall.

That is all true. I find 2 channel sounded better with MCACC. Bring Scott listens near field, or in your head field :) His speakers aren't interacting with anything , so he won't need room...
