Is jumping from something like a 220 up to 1000...

Is jumping from something like a 220 up to 1000 too much? Or the fact that you are spraying another layer negate any potential issues?

Dropping $30K on gear in a room with no sort of acoustical treatment is a horrible idea. You could spend $5K on speakers (Insert Brand) and $5K on properly...
