A rubber or silicone type caulk is a better idea for seal than wood glue. Wood glue is a bonding agent, but not so effective as a sealer in joints.

A screw into mdf has like 240 pounds of holding force. Multiply that times the number of screws. It's plenty strong.

Just spin it. Put a dab of construction adhesive in the old holes and scrape it flat. You'll use gasket material over the top anyways.

He has (12) 18" subwoofers. And already owns the Klipsch. He was considering upgrading or switching. He wants to do a baffle wall, but the rear ported on the Klipsch makes them a poor choice...
