The 2453 units have the diaphragm built into the back cover, so you cannot upgrade.

Do you really need more output from your mains? Adding more will just add more issues, not necessarily 6db. I guarantee your mains can send you fleeing from the room if pushed.

There's a heatsink to transfer the heat. It will get hot. A good portion of the power the amp makes is given off as heat.
