JVC stated the reason was because there was no 4K content available. Sony was not going to let JVC have access to Sony's 4K server. :) With 4K BD worked out, I expect to see a 4K JVC at CEDIA.

1,500 calibrated lumens is asking a lot at JVC's price point. Would be great if they can do it. All Sony ES projectors are covered by Sony's advanced replacement policy.
