What is a good speaker system to...

Could someone comment on this? I don't want to guess what this means, but if it is what I think it is, it makes this VSX-45 even more attractive.

Not in a hurry, since $450 is already my borderline and I would only be getting this instead of Sony or Yamaha $200-$250 level ones like DH750. But with all the goodies that this includes at $450...

That's an interesting piece of information, especially considering people's hesitation to buy Onkyo.

Didn't have any idea they had such bad reputation. This makes VSX-45 the only contender in "borderline affordable" receivers with hdcp 2.2 for normal folks like myself.

I guess it will be. So far it's the only announced sub $500 receiver with 2.2, however if Onkyo takes initiative and drops the NR636 from $500 to something like $350 (I doubt they will be able to...

What are you going to get? When will we see basic hdcp 2.2 complaint receivers soon that are not "elite" or "pro". I don't need wifi/lan/BT or all those gimmicky features, just give me a solid 5.1 or...

I don't own 4k TV but eventually will have replace my old 52" with one. I have PS3...

80 Watts (roughly 140W at 6ohm) for $450?
That means about $399 retail. I think hdcp 2.2 makes these so expensive, do they offer upconversion from analog composite inputs to HDMI at least?

Thanks.
I know it's not relevant at this stage but that 4k content is requirement of 50 or 60fps, so if the movie is not released on 60fps, they wouldn't be able to play back, or will they simply...

If we consider the 4K technology, what is the main requirement to avoid being left with an outdated device? Is HDMI 2.0 sufficient since this will guarantee 50/60fps at 4k res as well as 3D. I don't...
